Pork Chop Casserole
A vintage clipped casserole recipe for tender pork chops and sour cream sauce.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 6 pork chops, 3/4 to 1 inch thick
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
- 1 10 3/4 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 2/3 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
- 1 cup sour cream, divided
- 1 2.8 oz can french-fried onions, divided
Instructions
- Combine flour, salt, and pepper; dredge pork chops.
- Brown chops in oil and place in a baking dish.
- Make sauce with broth, ginger, rosemary, and sour cream; pour over chops.
- Bake covered, then top with french-fried onions and return to oven uncovered.
