Smoky Deviled Eggs

Mom's Flip2Tasty version reduces mayo, adds sour cream and 2% milk, cuts salt, and boosts the smoky herb flavor.

Ingredients

  • 12 large hard-boiled eggs, peeled
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1/4 tsp hot sauce, optional
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp capers, chopped, or green olives
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp reduced-fat 2% milk
  • Smoked paprika, to finish

Instructions

  1. Halve eggs and mash yolks.
  2. Mix yolks with mayo, sour cream, mustard, liquid smoke, seasonings, capers, and enough milk to smooth.
  3. Fill egg whites and sprinkle with smoked paprika.
